These nanotubes are remarkably safe and can easily penetrate cells without causing damage. MGMR can be loaded with a variety of cargos depending on the surfactant on the surface of the tube. In addition, MGMR’s simple manufacturing process results in faster delivery of products to patients than with viral vectors.
