With the aim of enhancing anti-tumor efficacy, a recombinant Ad6 vector was developed with the tumor-specific human telomerase reverse transcriptase (hTERT) promoter and the expression of the human granulocyte macrophage colony-stimulating factor (GMCSF). Further preclinical study is required to further evaluate the potential of the Ad6-hTERT-GMCSF vector as an oncolytic vector and a vaccine. This interview took place during the American Society for Cell & Gene Therapy 24th Annual Meeting 2021.
